Hey, y'all! My name is Isabella, and I’m a college student learning how to navigate adulthood right alongside you! Today, I am willbtell you 8 Productive Things To Do When Bored In The Summer.
1. Organize your calendar
Color code, organize, and plan your calendar for the upcoming months. This will help you feel more prepared and less stressed!
Make sure you have all the necessary doctor appointments and checkups scheduled.
2. learn a new skill on YouTube
I swear you can learn anything on YouTube!!
There are so many unique and interesting tutorials and educational videos out there. Think of something you have been wanting to learn or try & check it out!
3. make or update your LinkedIn profile
This is a great thing to spend time on if you are in college or anywhere post-grad!
Put some time and effort into your posts and excerpts discussing your experiences and skills because employers can tell.
4. edit your playlists & make new ones
I love finding new music to listen to but don't usually like searching for new songs unless I have the free time to do so. If you're anything like me, this is one of the perfect things to do when you're bored.
5. go through social media following
It is vital to be conscious of what you consume and feed your mind. Cleaning out your social media following is the perfect way to do this.
Some third-party apps will allow you to check who follows you back on Instagram. Then you will know exactly who to unfollow!
6. clean out your camera roll
The dreaded task of cleaning out your camera roll! As someone with 60,000 photos & videos, I get it....
But it is so helpful to clean out the unnecessary images and organize your current ones into albums for easy access.
7. Clean out your closet
An oldie but a goodie! This is not usually a fun one, but it is definitely necessary. When cleaning out your closet, remember...
1. Ensure you can make a complete outfit out of each item.
2. Ensure that if you walked out of the house in it right now, you would feel confident in it.
TIP: I have started keeping a list on my phone of what clothes I need and am looking for so that I don't overspend when shopping! This helps me to seriously consider an item before buying it.
8. Make goals & action steps
Make a list of goals you want to achieve in a specific time frame, whether in 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or 10 years.
Then, make a list of actionable steps that you can take to achieve them. Set deadlines and be sure to challenge yourself; don't put a limit on your goals!
I hope this post gave you a list of 8 things to do that are genuinely productive and will help you feel less stressed in the long run or help you grow in the present! If you enjoyed this post I bet you would like 20 Aff0rdable and Festive Fall Activities.
