Stressed about your upcoming trip to Italy? I get it! Use this list of the top 8 most important items to keep in your carry on when you are traveling to Italy.
Hey, y'all! My name is Isabella, and I’m a college student learning how to navigate adulthood right alongside you! Today I will tell you the 8 Most Important Items To Keep In Your Carry On When Traveling To Italy!
What to bring
- Plug Adapters & Electronics
- Medicine (In the original packaging)
- Passport, Credit cards, Driver's License, etc.
- A pen (For immigration forms)
- Liquids bag and/or Toiletries
- Something for entertainment (Books, laptop, crafts)
- A Refillable Water Bottle
- Neck Pillow & Eye Mask
1. plug adapters & electronics
Be sure to pack at least one, preferably 2 plug adapters.
Also, be sure to bring any other electronics you may want, such as headphones, a phone charger, a portable charger, a camera, earbuds, and an electric fan.
2. medicine (in the original packaging)
The customs in Italy can be particular about making sure your medicine is labeled in the original packaging.
It is best to go ahead and comply with this to avoid any potential slowdowns. For any medical prescriptions that are not over-the-counter medications, it is recommended to get a note from your doctor, proving you need to take that medication with you on your trip.
3. passport, credit cards, driver's license, etc.
Be sure to pack any forms of identification you may need, whether that is a passport, driver's license, student ID, or work ID.
Be sure you keep your cards on you as well.
4. A pen
Keep a pen in your carry-on or personal bag when you are traveling internationally to Italy because you will have to fill out immigration forms.
It will expedite your process of potentially waiting around for a pen if you come prepared with your own.
5. liquids bag/tolietries
If you are not checking a bag, you must keep your liquids bag in your personal tote.
Additionally, you may want to consider bringing any other makeup products, toiletries, or personal care items you may want or need on the flight.
6. something for entertainment (Books, laptop, crafts)
Be sure to include something in your carry-on that is entertaining or productive for you. Whether that is books to read, a laptop to get work or school done on, or crafts to distract you from your time on the flight or in the airport.
TIP: Coloring books can be a nice relaxing option if flights make you anxious!
7. A refillable water bottle
You don't want to have to keep buying water bottles over and over again, so be sure to pack a reusable one to refill at the water fountains in the airport.
This is cost-effective and time-efficient because you won't have to wait in those long airport lines!
As a plus, you will have your water bottle on hand when you arrive at your destination.
8. Neck Pillow & Eye Mask
Pack a comfortable neck pillow and an eye mask if it is a long flight from where you are. I highly recommend an inflatable one. There are some really comfortable ones, so give them a try!
I hope this post helped you know the exact essentials to pack for your international flight to Italy! Safe travels!
With Love,
Isabella XO
